On the features of working in the state civil service first-hand: RUDN students met with a representative of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Russia
Alexander Brusov spoke about the results of the contest of best personnel practices in the state and municipal services, about the regional practices of searching, attracting and selecting personnel for the state civil service. The speaker recommended that senior students planning employment in the state or municipal service become more familiar with the professional activities of employees in internships. He presented to students the short stories in the field of civil service methodology - methodological recommendations developed by the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Russian Federation to state bodies on the organization of student practices.
Brusov spoke about the work on conducting the practice of students of educational organizations in the civil and municipal service, about the list of state bodies that accept students for practice and internship, about the algorithm of action of students who want to go through practice or internship.
The speaker also touched on the introduction of new principles of personnel policy in the civil service, including the possibility of being tested for compliance with basic qualification requirements, the introduction of an electronic document acceptance system within the portal and the initial qualification selection in a remote testing format.
Students were presented with a draft of the Toolkit for the application of mentoring in the civil service.
The Head of the Department of State and Municipal Administration - Elena Maslennikova made a presentation about the rules for holding a competition in the state civil service. The issues of obtaining information on vacancies, on qualification requirements, on the professional qualities necessary for a civil servant were considered.
The topic, in connection with relevance, caused a lot of questions and discussions. Among the most interesting are questions about restrictions on admission to the service, about the necessary documents, about the procedures for the competition and the formation of a personnel reserve, about the quantitative characteristics of the participants in the competition, about the expectations of state bodies regarding applicants.
The Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Russian Federation is a federal executive body that carries out functions for the development and implementation of state policy and legal regulation in the field of public civil service, except for wage issues.
