RUDN University is to increase the quota for students from Tanzania

Oleg Yastrebov, Rector of RUDN University, stated this at a meeting with Dr. Pindi Hazara Chana, Minister of Justice of the United Republic of Tanzania.

“Currently, 37 Tanzanian citizens are studying at RUDN University. In the near future, we will allocate additional scholarships under RUDN Open Olympiad program for foreign citizens. In the future, when selecting candidates to study at our university, we will take into account the recommendations of the Tanzanian Embassy in Moscow and the country’s Ministry of Justice,” Oleg Yastrebov, Rector of RUDN University.

Dr. Pindi Hazara Chana, Minister of Justice of Tanzania, proposed considering cooperation in the field of research activities, as well as short-term exchange programs for students and teachers with leading universities in Tanzania in the fields of medicine, agriculture and law.

Tanzania is also interested in the volunteer activities of RUDN University, which has the largest volunteer center among all universities in Russia. Next year, the parties agreed to include joint volunteer activities in the work plan.
