RUDN University participated in an international education exhibition in Casablanca
The exhibition was attended by Dmitry Mezhaurov, Consul General of the Russian Federation in Casablanca; Vladimir Sokolov, Head of the Russian House in Rabat; and other colleagues working to promote the Russian language and education in Russian in the Kingdom of Morocco.
The RUDN University delegation presented the university as part of the joint exhibition stand of the Russian-African Network University (RAFU).
As a reputable, internationally oriented university, RUDN University attracts considerable attention from young people across African countries. Hundreds of high school students graduating within the next one to three years are showing keen interest in RUDN’s academic programs, as well as the RUDN Olympiad, which offers talented students additional opportunities to pursue higher education in Russia under the quota of the Government of the Russian Federation.
A survey of exhibition participants showed that the most in-demand fields of study by a wide margin were medicine and IT, followed by fisheries and marine technologies, engineering, and economics.
The forum attracted over 100,000 participants; hundreds of young people and their parents expressed interest in enrolling at RUDN, and agreements on cooperation were reached with Moroccan universities and schools to promote the Russian language and Russian education.
At RUDN University, New Year comes twice. On the eve, its walls were filled with music, bright colors, and festive buzz. This time in honor of the upcoming Year of the Horse according to the lunar calendar.
In honor of the 66th anniversary of our university, 95 diplomats from 60 countries gathered in its walls. At the round table “All flags at RUDN”, the university presented a new educational course and talked about other programs and study opportunities at the university for foreign citizens.
A delegation from the Democratic Republic of the Congo, led by Patrice Lumumba's daughter Juliana, paid another visit to RUDN University. This time, Patrice's grandson, Kahi Lumumba, was among the honored guests of our university.
