RUDN University sums up the work of the SCO University
Representatives of the authorities and participating universities summarized the results of their year’s work. They discussed events held in collaboration with foreign partner universities, signed agreements, and identified problems and potential solutions. The universities also proposed new formats of cooperation to enhance interaction within the SCO University framework. RUDN Institute of Ecology initiated plans for an international forum on ecology.
“Despite the complex political realities and constant changes taking place in the SCO member universities themselves, it is important to continue developing cooperation in the field of education. Efforts to increase interaction at the university level are essential, especially considering the potential new member universities from India, Iran, Pakistan, and Uzbekistan,” said Larisa Efremova, Vice-Rector for International Relations at RUDN University.
The meeting was supported by the Russian Ministry of Education and Science and Rossotrudnichestvo.
At the SCO University, RUDN University is the base organization for three fields of study: economics, ecology, and teaching sciences.
RUDN University welcomed two delegations from Nicaragua and Serbia to discuss potential areas of collaboration.
Savitribai Phule Pune University became a participant of the Russian language courses thanks to the reliable support of the Russkiy Mir Foundation. Students and teachers of the university got a unique opportunity to study Russian language under the guidance of highly qualified teachers of RUDN and on the Digital Education Platform.
On 4th of April 2025, RUDN University hosted the 2-nd annual event on Swahili.
