Samarkand, Fergana, Bukhara… RUDN University develops cooperation with medical universities of Uzbekistan
The Russian side at the forum was headed by Mikhail Murashko, Minister of Health of Russia.
“Russia and Uzbekistan demonstrate confident dynamics and potential for further development of cooperation. Great success has been achieved in the areas of transplantology, cardiovascular surgery, oncohematology, obstetrics, neonatology and genetics,” Mikhail Murashko, Minister of Health of the Russian Federation.
At the forum, RUDN University signed a memorandum of cooperation with Samarkand State Medical University. Agreements were also reached on cooperation between RUDN University and the medical universities of Fergana and Bukhara.
RUDN University was represented by employees of the Medical Institute:
- Svetlana Razumova, Deputy Director in the specialty “Dentistry”;
- Nikolai Sturov, Deputy Director with a specialization in "General “Medicine”.
30 students-citizens of Uzbekistan are studying at RUDN University in the specialties “General Medicine” and “Dentistry” under the double diploma program with the Tashkent Dental Institute.
RUDN University welcomed a delegation of three Municipal Assemblies of the Republic of Ghana - Korle Klottey, La Dade-Kotopon and Ledzokuku. At the meeting the parties discussed the results of the educational school “Solid Waste Management and Circular Economy”, held at the Institute of Ecology of RUDN University this year.
The BRICS Network University International Governing Board is the main coordinating body of the educational consortium. Russia is chairing BRICS in 2024. The event took place in the run-up to the meeting of the Ministers of Education of the countries of the association. The meeting is to take place in Kazan on 11 June.
May 20, RUDN received a delegation from Nizwa University, one of the leading educational and scientific institutions in the Sultanate of Oman.
