BINGO! A new canteen and co-working space open in the building of the Humanities and Social Sciences

An open kitchen like in fancy restaurants, where you can order wok, pasta, crepes and waffles, traditional canteen with a variety of dishes on the menu and a separate coffee shop — all of space dining 214 people at smaller or larger tables.

 

“Very beautiful design. Everything is stylish, laconic colors, cool menu. I tried delicious shrimp pasta with cream sauce. You feel like sitting here and eating until you burst. In three words: amazing, brilliant, stylish,” Yulia Savchenko, Faculty of Philology, “Journalism”, 2nd year.

Breakfast starts at 8am, and hot lunch and dinner are available until 7pm. You can order from the menu in the open kitchen both at the cash-desk and at the self-service terminal at the entrance. After you order you get a receipt with a number and track the order on the screen.

“My first reaction was ‘wow’! Everything is very stylish, cozy, there are no flashy colors — it’s cool. Carbonara is wonderful. This year I want to try the entire menu, it looks so attractive,” Mikhail Tsukanov, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, “Public Administration,” 2nd year.

Yellow and orange colors, modern art posters, fashionable lighting, motivational slogans, graphic patterns on the walls and over 825 sq. meters total area — the co-working spaces in the main building now have a rival.

Even before the official opening, students appreciated the new space. A meeting room — if you need to discuss an idea or project, a private area with a green fence — if you want to be alone or need to concentrate on homework, an amphitheater — to rehearse your speech for Science Talks.

157 seats, 160 electric sockets, a single Wi-Fi network “RUDN” and a work schedule from 08:00 am to 10:00 pm — the new co-working space is open!
