About the event

The organizer of the Conference is the Federal Agency for the Commonwealth of Independent States, Compatriots Living Abroad and International Humanitarian Cooperation (Rossotrudnichestvo).

The main aim of the event is to create positive conditions for promoting, supporting and strengthening the positions of the Russian language in other countries.

The tasks of the Conference include organizing a series of seminars, master classes, trainings and round tables for journalists working for Russian-speaking mass media and journalism students on the issues of modern news coverage in different countries.

The topics of the event cover discussing modern trends in the journalism development, the influence of the information environment on journalism, the issues of stylistics and literary editing of texts in Russian, the issues of interaction between Russian and foreign media different aspects and themes.

Among the speakers of the conference there are representatives of the Russian mass media, and academic staff of the Department of Mass Communications of the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia.

We invite to participate in the event journalists (reporters and editors) of Russian-speaking news agencies and other mass media agencies in the German Federal Republic, Russian mass media covering events in Germany and students studying Journalism in German universities.
