10.00-11.30 — presentation of the textbook “History of International Relations” by Professor L.V. Ponomarenko (RUDN) and Associate Professor O.S. Chikrizova (RUDN); report on “Conducting a Literature Lesson in Russian for Foreign Students” by Zhang Zhui (China), PhD student of the Philological Faculty of Moscow State University.


About the event

The scientific seminar “Language aspects of integration and self-identification in modern world” will be held online on December 21, 2022. The speakers are: Ludmila Vasilyevna Ponomarenko, Professor, Doctor of History (RUDN University; Olga Sergeyevna Chikrizova, Candidate of History (RUDN University); Zhang Zhui (Peoples’ Republic of China), PhD student of the Philological Department, Moscow State University.

The purpose of the event: The scientific seminar is dedicated to improving the quality of teaching foreign languages and cultures in accordance with the new challenges posed to humanitarian education; expanding active contacts with scientists and teachers of foreign languages and humanities from leading universities, raising the status of foreign languages and humanities, developing the academic reputation of the RUDN University and the incoming mobility of leading scientists in the RUDN University.

The tasks of the seminar:

  • to provide insight into the textbooks of the Department of Foreign Languages of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities of RUDN University.
  • to inform the participants about the peculiarities of conducting a literary lesson in Russian for foreign students.
  • to improve the quality of education with the provision of learning materials.
