Student of RUDN University Philological Faculty became the laureate of the X Moscow International TV Festival «Profession - Journalist»
56 students’ scientific projects from 29 cities of Russia took part in the competition program of the X Moscow International TV Festival «Profession - Journalist». Among them was the documentary film «Russian war correspondents in Syria» by a 4th year student of the Journalism direction, Yazan Almasri, who became the winner in the «Best Reportage» nomination. The project manager was the doctor of philological sciences, associate professor of the department of mass communications, TV journalist Natalya Sergeevna Gegelova. At the ceremony of awarding prizes, the laureate admitted that he is ready to further development the theme raised in the film: «Russian military journalists are real heroes about we need to make films about them, and I want to create a television cycle about them in the future».

RUDN hosted the competition "On the Pages of the Coursework". Twenty-five papers were recognised, 16 of them received the highest marks. One of the winners of the competition is Ravuri Priyamsha Lakhana from India (VI year, "Medical Business", Medical Institute). She researched non-alcoholic steatohepatitis and spoke about who is at risk and what is needed for early diagnosis.
