Engineering Management

Methods of creating a motivating environment in industrial enterprises for the formation and use of human resources

The effective human capital is understood as the successful functioning of an industrial enterprise, therefore one of the key objectives of engineering management is to create the most favourable internal environment for its development and actualization. One approach to solving this problem is to create an innovative corporate culture of the enterprise. Innovative corporate culture is characterized by clear goals, an effective system of motivation and control, the creation of temporary teams for the task, openness to new ideas, stimulation to improve the professional level and self-development, an effective system of communication and a favourable psychological climate. The project aims to develop measures to create an innovative corporate culture as the most favourable environment for development and actualization. The objectives of the research in the framework of the scientific direction are the analysis of the theoretical positions of human capital and the motivating environment for its formation and use; the formation of new approaches to creating a motivating internal environment of an industrial enterprise; development of a model of the relationship between the qualitative and quantitative characteristics of human capital and the performance indicators of the organization’s personnel; creation of an innovative set of motivating tools for the development of human capital.

Development and evaluation of innovative industrial clusters in leading and developing countries

The goal of the research is the development of scientifically based methods, tools and mechanisms at the economic level, designed for the economically expedient and strategically significant involvement of the Russian Federation in the development and evaluation of innovative industrial clusters. The scientific significance of this topic lies in the development of a methodology for the economically expedient and strategically significant involvement of the industrial sector of Russia in the development and evaluation of innovative industrial clusters and its elements, such as: scientific hypothesis, principles, system of tools, methods, organizational economic mechanism, as well as the development of guidelines for their use. Applied importance consists in developing a system of analytical tools designed to assess the feasibility of interaction of industrial enterprises of the Russian Federation with existing innovation clusters, in terms of economically viable and strategically significant interaction in solving the problems of innovative development of the material and technical base of the economy; methodical recommendations on the use of the proposed organizational and economic mechanisms to improve the efficiency of solving their problems.

Information and analytical support of international scientific-technical cooperation

The most important trend in the development of the global production process is the strengthening of the innovative orientation of industrial cooperation and the expansion of the industrial relations of countries. For Russia in the modern conditions of development of international economic relations, the study of trends and features of the development of world industrial relations in technological (high- and medium-technology) sectors of the economy, as well as the specifics of the development of production relations of Russia in these sectors in the context of world trends are very relevant. The purpose of scientific research is to analyze and summarize the current trends in the development of world industrial relations in high- and medium-technology sectors of the economy and assess the characteristics of their development in Russia in the context of global trends. The main objectives of the research are the determination of the most important indicators for assessing international production relations and the establishment of mutual influence dependencies; identifying features of their transformation in the context of regional integration; identification of patterns of their development; identifying prospects for expanding Russian industrial relations, taking into account the specifics of specialization, and developing recommendations on the formation of national industrial relations in order to increase competitiveness and economic security of the country.

Economic problems of the creation and use of alternative fuels, sources of generation and methods of energy transfer

For Russia, the need to develop unconventional fuels, sources of generation and methods of energy transfer is quite controversial. The development of unconventional fuels, sources of generation and methods of energy transfer leads to the appearance of various effects: economic, social and environmental, and also improve the quality of life of the population. Moreover, among the social effects, it is of fundamental importance to help solve the problem of unemployment in remote and hard-to-reach areas, as well as in regions with a tense atmosphere. The implementation of projects for the creation and use of unconventional fuels, sources of generation and methods of energy transfer faces many problems of a political, administrative, legislative and economic nature. The purpose of the research is the formation of a mechanism to solve the economic problems of creating and using non-traditional types of fuel, sources of generation and methods of energy transfer. To achieve this goal, a number of economic tasks have been set, namely: an analysis of the main mechanisms for supporting projects using non-traditional types of fuel, sources of generation and methods of energy transfer (hereinafter referred to as projects); analysis of administrative, political, legislative, economic barriers to project development; development of capacity commissioning scenarios based on renewable energy sources (RES) by regions of Russia; assessment of the possible benefits of projects in the regions of Russia, based on existing goals and indicators of the development of renewable energy sources, fixed by the existing regulatory and legal documentation; assessing the impact of projects on helping to solve unemployment problems in the regions of Russia; development of methods for quantitative assessment of the effects of the development of renewable energy in Russia; the formation of proposals to change the existing regulatory and legal framework, as well as recommendations on the management of such projects and the formation of a mechanism to attract funding for them.
