Department of support for digital transformation projects in science and education

Activities of the Department: The Department provides information, organizational, methodological and project support in the field of digital transformation of science and education, as well as provides development and implementation of tools for monitoring the digital development of universities and scientific organizations.

The results of work in this area of research will be applied in the implementation of the following projects:

Expert and methodological support for digitalization of higher education institutions.

The project is aimed at providing expertise and support to universities on digital maturity issues and quality of internal administrative and management, personnel, service and infrastructure processes of digitalization.

IT- community of leaders of digital transformation of education.

The project is aimed at creating a permanent site for interaction of the IT- community of leaders of educational organizations, exchange of experience, best practices in the field of implementation and development of information systems, online courses, digital University models, organization of training using modern technologies. The project is a response to the growing demand of managers to increase the openness of discussion of organizational, technical, technological, administrative and managerial issues, as well as greater involvement of Federal government agencies and the business community in order to achieve national development goals.

Elaboration of sectoral analytical research.

The project is aimed at ensuring a high level of scientific research aimed at increasing competitiveness among leading scientific and educational organizations, as well as developing innovative research directions in the digital development of science and education in collaboration with representatives of the academic community.

One of the results of the project will be the elaboration of annual and quarterly analytical studies on the main trends in the development of digital technologies in science and education, as well as improving the quality of research and dissemination of scientific results in publications indexed in leading international databases.

Development of online course standards 2.0.

The project is aimed at developing regulations and standards for organizing online education based on best practices and developing new digital learning tools.

Within the project, work is underway to transform existing teaching practices into an online format without losing the quality of the educational process for both students and teachers. Also, during the development of standards, fundamentally new learning tools are developed, which became possible only with the use of digital technologies in the educational process.

The approval of standards and regulations for online education will help establish a unified quality of educational services and increase the average level of digital technology implementation in the educational process.

Digital technologies for young people and intercultural environment in the Russian Federation.

The project is working on creating solutions, programmes and services based on digital technologies in order to prepare young people for life in a monocultural society. One of the key tasks of the project is to ensure intercultural and interfaith communication of young people in the context of external and internal political challenges and threats.

Permanent platforms and competence centers for young professionals, aimed at attracting talented young people from among students and postgraduate students to scientific, innovative and practical activities in the field of humanitarian research will be formed as a result of the project, and also conditions for ensuring the digital transformation of science and education and supporting breakthrough solutions in the interests of the state and society will be created.
