Rules for conducting the Open Olympiad of the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia for foreign citizens
Step 1.
Follow the information on the place and time of the Olympiad on the websites https://eng.rudn.ru/admissions/olympiad/, http://olymp.rudn.ru/gb/, http://studyinrussia.ru/en/, as well as the website of the Russian Centre for Science and Culture http://olymp.rudn.ru/partners/ in your country.
Step 2.
Familiarize yourself with the conditions of the Olympiad and the requirements for the level of training. The examples of the tasks can be found on the website http://olymp.rudn.ru/gb/olimpiada-rudn-dlya-obucheniya-po-programmam-magistratury/
Step 3.
If you are ready to test yourself in an intellectual contest, register as a participant in our Olympiad using the contact information from the announcement.
Step 4.
Come to the Olympiad well in advance, those who are late for the Olympiad are not allowed to take part in it. You are to have an identification document (passport, student ID card). Produce it to the organizers of the Olympiad and register as a participant in the intramural stage of the Open Olympiad of the RUDN University for foreign citizens.
Step 5.
Put your mobile phone and other devices in storage. Go into the classroom and take your seat.
Step 6.
Carefully listen to the information provided by the RUDN University representatives on the rules of the Olympiad, your rights and duties as a participant. Do not hesitate to ask questions to the organizers, if something is not clear.
Step 7.
Carefully fill in the entry form of the participant of the Olympiad and get down to work.
We draw your attention to the fact that the work is to be done only on the sheets given to the participant at the premises of the organization conducting the Olympiad. If necessary, a participant can be given additional sheets. To do this, you are to raise your hand and the organizers will give you additional sheets.
The work, including drawings and pictures, is to be done with a pen with a blue or black refill. Moreover, the rough copy and the fair copy are to be marked and separated. Extraneous notes and drawings in the work are not allowed.
At the request of a participant with disabilities, he or she may be given a variant of the task with a larger font. Please indicate this when registering.
Step 8.
On completing the Olympiad, when leaving the classroom, you are to hand in the rough copy and the fair copy of the work to a RUDN University representative. The rough copy and the fair copy are to be marked and separated. The sheets of the fair copy are numbered. The rough copy is not checked. An unmarked sheet is considered a rough copy.
Step 9.
In the presence of at least three participants of the Olympiad, a RUDN University representative puts the entry forms and works of the Olympiad participants into special packages and seals them. The sealed packages are sent to the RUDN University no later than two days after completing the Olympiad and are opened at the University in the presence of the person responsible for conducting the Olympiad.
Step 10.
After being checked by a special jury, the results of the Olympiad are posted on the website of the Open Olympiad of the RUDN University for foreign citizens. In addition, we will send a message to your e-mail.
Step 11.
If you have won, you are to act!
