Employment instruction

The substitution of academic personnel at the University is carried out on the basis of an employment contract for a period of up to five years. The employment contract with an employee of the number of foreign citizens is preceded by a competitive selection of applicants.

The Academic Council of the University establishes the terms of election for academic positions.

The term of the employment agreement with the candidate for the position is determined by the Academic Council, conducting election on the base of competition, taking into account the deadlines recommended by the Personnel Commission of the Academic Council of the University, faculty, Institute or Academy.

Competition is mandatory for candidates for the academic positions at the University for the first time employed as well as for the re-elected.

The final stage of the selection process is the signing of the fixed-term employment contract with successful applicants.

Stage 1

Application for participation in the competition

  1. Scan-copy of the consent of the subject to personal data processing (filled in and signed).
  2. Copy of the identity paper (apostilles + notarized translation).
  3. Copy of the diploma of higher education (apostilles + notarized translation).
  4. Copy of the doctoral certificate (apostilles + notarized translation).
  5. The list of publications on the issues of professional activity.
  6. The information for the application form.
  7. The СV.
  8. Photo 3x4 (4 pieces).
  9. Scan-copy of the Russian visa (if available).
  10. Employment record.

Stage 2

The competition is a multi-step procedure:

  1. The announcement of the competition procedure;
  2. The submission of the application form and relevant documents for participation in the competition, admission to competition;
    - Application for admission to participate in the competition;
    - Application form;
    - The list of publications on the issues of professional activity.
  3. Consideration of applicants' documents, assessment of the qualifications by the Personnel Policy Commissions (training and methodological commission) and making decisions on admission to the competition and giving recommendations for the election;
  4. Consideration of applicants documents, assessment of their qualifications by the Academic Council and the election.

Applicants for academic positions must satisfy the Qualification Requirements established by the Unified Qualification Directory of Managers, Professionals and Employees, the section “Qualification Characteristics of Managers and Specialists of Higher Vocational and Additional Professional Education” approved by Order No.1 of the Ministry of Health and Social Development of the Russian Federation. 11.01.2011 №1.

Competition of applicants for academic positions is carried out taking into account the criteria established by the decision of the Academic Council of the University.

Stage 3

Signing of the employment contract.

Documents for employment for teaching staff

List of documents for foreign citizens:

  1. List of confirmation of the position reservation at the Department of Planning and Financial Management (Moscow, Miklukho-Maklaya St., 7, floor 3)*.
  2. Application with a signature on familiarization with the employment position instruction (with the visa of the Head of the Department).
  3. Application for admission to participate in the competition for the post (visaed by the Head of the HR and Recruitment Department RUDN)*.
  4. Extract from the minutes of the Academic Council touching upon the election.
  5. Extract from the minutes of the meeting of the Personnel Policy Committee touching upon the recommendations for election*.
  6. Labour agreement with a teacher (2 copies).
  7. Checklist of instructions for admission to work (2 copies, Moscow, Miklukho-Maklaya St., 11а, room 211)*.
  8. The results of the preliminary (periodic) medical examination (Appendix No. 5 to the order of the Ministry of Health and Social Development of the Russian Federation of April 12, 2011. No. 302). The document is issued by the Clinical Diagnostic Centre of RUDN*.
  9. Consent form for academic staff of RUDN to processing personal data.
  10. Documents on education (diplomas + apostilles + notarized translations of apostilles and diplomas) + * expert resolution or certificate from National Information Centre on Academic Recognition and Mobility of RUDN.
  11. Certificate of presence (absence) of criminal conviction and (or) of the fact of criminal prosecution or exoneration (in the country of citizenship (+ apostille + notarized translation of certificate and apostille) or at the Multifunctional centre in Russia (30 days)).
  12. Medical insurance policy (Clinical Diagnostic Centre of RUDN, office 504, 9.30-17.00, lunch 13.00-14.00).
  13. Application form.
  14. Photo 3x4 (4 pieces).
  15. Copy of passport + notarized translation of passport.
  16. Copy of Insurance Number of Individual Ledger Account (if available).
  17. Copy of TIN (if available).
  18. Employment record (for part-time employment - a certified copy of the employment record) (if available).
  19. Copies of the visa, migration card, registration.
