Federal Financial Monitoring Service (Rosfinmonitoring)

The Federal Financial Monitoring Service (Rosfinmonitoring) is a federal executive authority that performs the functions of countering the legalization (laundering) of proceeds from crime, financing terrorism and financing the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction, developing state policy and regulatory regulation in this area, coordinating the relevant activities of other federal executive authorities, other state bodies and organizations, as well as the functions of the national center for assessing threats to national security arising from transactions (transactions) with cash or other property, and to develop measures to counter these threats. The activities of the Federal Financial Monitoring Service are managed by the President of the Russian Federation.
