Short description:
The official history of the IGEM RAS began with the establishment of the following three research institutes on the basis of the Geological and Mineralogical Museum named after Peter the Great in 1930:
- Institute of Mineralogy,
- Institute of Geochemistry,
- Petrographic Institute (PETRIN),
- Geological Institute (GIN).
History of cooperation:
Cooperation in organizing industrial placement has been implemented since 2019.
