Federal Tax Service Directorate for the City of Moscow

The Federal Tax Service (FTS) of the Russian Federation is a federal executive body exercising control and surveillance over compliance with the tax and levy legislation, the correctness of calculations, fullness and timeliness of paying taxes, levies and insurance fees, as well as other mandatory payments, to the respective budget in the cases stipulated by the laws of the Russian Federation, along with performing the functions of a currency control body within the competence of tax authorities. The Federal Tax service is accountable to the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation.
