JSC “Machine-building Factory ZiO-Podolsk”

JSC "Machine-Building Factory of Podolsk" (JSC ZiO) is one of the leading Russian enterprises of power engineering with more than 100 years of history.

The plant traces its history back to 1919. In April 1936 it was named after the People's Commissar of Heavy Industry Ordzhonikidze. Since 1992 JSC "Podolsk Machine-Building Plant" has become the legal successor of the Ordzhonikidze Plant (ZiO), preserving traditions, engineering base and multiplying the experience of several generations of boiler builders.

About 900 steam boilers of various capacities and parameters have been produced under the ZiO brand for 190 domestic and foreign thermal power plants with a total capacity of over 85 million kwt, including more than 16 million kwt for export. Our boilers successfully operate at thermal power plants in Russia, Belarus, Bulgaria, Vietnam, Germany, Greece, Kazakhstan, China, Romania, the countries of the former Yugoslavia and other countries.
