Ostankino meat processing plant is a leading manufacturer of meat products and semi-finished products in Central Russia, the largest meat processing complex in Europe. The company was founded in 1954.
Ostankino owns 16 trading houses, branded stores in Moscow and one of the most modern pig farms in the country.
The plant (producing 680 tons of products per day!) employs more than 9,000 employees. Since 2006, "Ostankino meat processing plant" has been officially recognized as the leader of the meat processing industry of the Russian Federation.
Cooperation since 2014 in the field of of internships for students of the specialty "Veterinary" and "Veterinary and sanitary examination" and their subsequent employment. Every year the company employs 5-7 graduates of RUDN specialty Veterinary and Veterinary-sanitary expertise. The chief veterinarian of the JSC "Ostankino" - Professor D.Nikitchenko - graduate of RUDN ‘2002, Professor of the Department of veterinary medicine, RUDN ATI.
