Special Economic Zone "Alabuga"

SEZ "Alabuga" has been operating since 2006 and is the largest special economic zone of industrial and production type in Russia - it accounts for about 72% of revenue in the structure of the economic zones of the IPT.
The volume of actually invested private investments is 212.4 billion rubles, the revenue of residents is 547 billion rubles. 33 production facilities operate on the territory of the SEZ and more than 7 thousand jobs have been created. Among the residents are such leading international companies as Sollers Ford, 3M, Rockwool, Armstrong, Hayat, etc. Alabuga is regularly noted in the world's leading ratings of investment sites — the SEZ has been recognized six times as the best platform in Europe for large projects according to the fDi magazine, part of the Financial Times group. In 2020, Alabuga for the fourth time became the best platform for investment in the National Rating of investment Attractiveness of the SEZ, created by the Association for the Development of Clusters and Technoparks of Russia. Alabuga was also recognized as the most effective SEZ based on the results of an analysis conducted by the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia.
