Short description:
Voskresenskoe Povetluzhye Natural Park is the first and only natural park in the Nizhny Novgorod Region. It was created on June 10, 2008. This is a specially protected area of the Voskresensky district, allocated along the coast of the Vetluga River. It has a rich natural and cultural heritage. In 2005, the International Ecological Fund granted the Voskresensky district the status of ecologically clean territory.
History of cooperation:
Since 2014, the Natural Park has been interacting with RUDN University: in addition to organising practical training sessions for the students of the System Ecology Department of the Ecological Faculty, excursions, lectures and other events are held there.
