The historical path of the formation of Giprogor as the largest center of domestic urban planning is complex as the entire history of the country in the past century. The history of the Institute is connected with Soviet urban planning - from the first new-built cities: Kuzbass, Magnitogorsk, Ural, - to the integrated modeling of the largest administrative, scientific, industrial and cultural centers of modern Russia.
Among the organizers and creative leaders of the Institute there were Russian scientists and practitioners in the field of urban planning and development: V. Semenov, L. Ilyin, G. Sheleikhovsky, S. Ovsyannikov, V. Vitman.
The Russian Urban Planning Institute and Investment Development "Giprogor" was established in 1929 for modeling master plans of cities and working settlements, the development of project documentation for new buildings of the first five-year plans.
 

Activities in the field of architecture.

Joint-Stock Company “Astronomical Scientific Center” was established in 2011 without the participation of foreign capital and this is a specialized Russian enterprise focused on:

• creation and operation of automated optoelectronic surveillance systems for space objects (artificial and natural origin) of high factory readiness, including relocated (by road, rail, air and sea transport);
• creation of automated systems for processing information about space objects carrying out orbital flight, structural elements accompanying them in the launch, fragments of their destruction of artificial and natural origin;
• maintenance of the library of algorithms of ballistics and celestial mechanics;
• assessment of the space situation along the trajectory of the launch and orbital movement of spacecraft in the interests of satellite operators.

The company works for those whose profession is to penetrate the secrets of the smallest differences in chemical composition. Methods of analysis are created for them and we develop new and original tools.

The company performs a whole range of tasks - from monitoring the mercury content in the air to identifying amino acids in bioassays; from determining the basic composition to micro-mixtures at the level of billionths and trillions.
 

“Vorkutaugol” company is part of the mining division of PJSC “Severstal” and the largest enterprise in Vorkuta. LLC "KONORD Plant" is one of the largest plants for the production of heating and boiler equipment in Russia that has been holding a leading position at the market since 1979.

JSC "Machine-Building Factory of Podolsk" (JSC ZiO) is one of the leading Russian enterprises of power engineering with more than 100 years of history.

The plant traces its history back to 1919. In April 1936 it was named after the People's Commissar of Heavy Industry Ordzhonikidze. Since 1992 JSC "Podolsk Machine-Building Plant" has become the legal successor of the Ordzhonikidze Plant (ZiO), preserving traditions, engineering base and multiplying the experience of several generations of boiler builders.

About 900 steam boilers of various capacities and parameters have been produced under the ZiO brand for 190 domestic and foreign thermal power plants with a total capacity of over 85 million kwt, including more than 16 million kwt for export. Our boilers successfully operate at thermal power plants in Russia, Belarus, Bulgaria, Vietnam, Germany, Greece, Kazakhstan, China, Romania, the countries of the former Yugoslavia and other countries.
 

“Scientific Research Institute of SPA "LUCH” has been engaged in the production of temperature control equipment since 1992. For this period the company has accumulated extensive experience and massive technical base.
The geography of supplies of equipment manufactured by FSUE “Scientific Research Institute of NPO LUCH” covers all nuclear power plants of “Rosenergoatom” Concern and some foreign nuclear power plants as well as a number of oil and gas, chemical, metallurgical and other industries.
