Mediascope is a high-tech research company, a leader in the Russian market for media research, monitoring of advertising and the media. The company's activities are based on international research standards. Customers of Mediascope are the majority of participants in the media advertising market: advertising agencies and groups, publishing houses, television channels, radio stations, Internet sites and advertising companies. Mediascope data serve as the basis for decision-making.
Since 2017 cooperation has been conducted in the field of organizing practice for students of the Department of Sociology of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences of RUDN University. The company organizes lectures and workshops of the leading experts in the media industry.
It was created in 1991 in the structure of VTsIOM, then headed by Tatyana Zaslavskaya, as an independent public organization with the aim of attracting funds of charitable foundations to the center. In mid-1992, the Foundation withdrew from the VTsIOM; and remaining in the status of an independent non-profit organization, it became one of the leading sociological organizations in Russia, carrying out a large volume of custom and proprietary research using a wide range of survey methods.

The Autonomous non-profit organization Analytical Center of Yuri Levada (ANO Levada Center) is a Russian non-governmental research organization. The center combines public opinion monitoring and analytical work. The research results of the center are regularly published by the leading mass media of Russia and the world.
