In 2006 the Professor of Carleton University, Director of the Institute of European and Russian Studies Piotr Dutkiewicz

was awarded the Diploma of the RUDN University Honorary Doctor.

Mr. Piotr Dutkiewicz is the Director of the Public Administration Centre (Carleton University, Canada), full member of the Center for Civilizational and Regional Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences, member of the International Council of the All-Russian Fund for the Protection of Human Rights. Graduated from the University of Warsaw, Doctor of Philosophy.

Mr. Piotr Dutkiewicz taught at St. Peter's College in Oxford (Great Britain), the University of Berkeley (USA), the Institute of International Relations (the USA), the University of Warsaw, Royal University of Kingston (Canada).
