Harbin Medical University is listed in the official medical directories of WHO. The PhD degree awarded at the university is recognized by Russia without the requirement to audition and confirm the degree. It is a member of the Russian-Chinese Association of Medical Universities (RCAMU). The university conducts human genome research, solid tumor cytogenetic research, basic and clinical research on a series of spleen-sparing operations, research on the clinical application of homogeneous heart transplantation in situ. The university cooperates with some enterprises, such as the Pharmaceutical Research and Development Center between Harbin Medical University and Harbin Pharmaceutical Group, to facilitate the transformation of pharmaceutical technology into new products and lead the pharmaceutical industry in the northeast of the old industrial base to rapid development. Development of new modeling methods in Biomedicine based on discrete-continuous approaches in which biological cells are considered as individual objects, intracellular regulation is modeled by ordinary differential equations, and intercellular concentrations were described by partial differential equations. Application of these methods to modeling of various physiological processes.
Result of cooperation:

Joint research work with A. Bouchnita. Mathematical models and computer programs for describing the coagulation of blood in the stream considering biochemical reactions in the plasma and aggregation of platelets were developed. The terms of normal clot growth and thrombosis were obtained. Two articles are in print this year.
