The activity of a veterinarian is aimed at diagnosing, treating and preventing animal diseases; protection of the population from diseases common to humans and animals; ensuring the safety of animal products, medicines and animal feed; prevention of the spread of contagious diseases in the territory of a state.
Veterinarians of agricultural enterprises ensure the quality and safety of livestock products. Epizootologists solve the most difficult tasks of controlling the spread of diseases that are dangerous to humans and animals. Veterinarians of clinics: traumatologists, plastic surgeons or neurosurgeons are almost engineers capable of restoring the anatomical integrity and physiological functions of the patient in case of injuries and other severe health disorders. Imaging and laboratory diagnostics specialists can help you to identify hidden signs of diseases using non-invasive diagnostic methods. General practitioners, oncologists, endocrinologists, critical care surgeon and other specialists provide assistance to animals using modern therapeutic methods. Current veterinarian is a highly qualified specialist who manages modern equipment and world technologies in the field of animal health.

Educational Process

The training takes place in modern educational laboratories, in computer classes with specialized software, in classrooms equipped with multimedia, including the one for webinars and video conferences.
The main disciplines of the program: Anatomy, Cytology, Histology and Embryology, Physiology, Pathological Physiology, Pharmacology, Breeding, Feeding, Animal Hygiene, Toxicology, Clinical Diagnostics , Internal non-communicable diseases, General and private surgery, Obstetrics, gynecology and andrology, Parasitology and invasive diseases, Epizootology and infectious diseases, Pathological anatomy and forensic veterinary examination, Veterinary and sanitary expertise.
In the last courses, students study in depth the disciplines of medical specializations: Reconstructive Surgery, Anesthesiology, Resuscitation and Intensive Care, Therapy of Animal Diseases, Ophthalmology, Dentistry of Animals, etc.
According to his aspirations, a student can study in more detail the diseases of horses, exotic and zoo animals, rodents, reptiles or birds.
