Profession

Veterinarians who have serious ambitions in the field of science and wish to improve their qualifications continue their postgraduate studies, upon completion of which, upon successful defense of their Ph.D. thesis, they receive a Ph.D. degree in specialty 4.2.1. Animal pathology, morphology, physiology, pharmacology and toxicology. The profession is aimed at the implementation of research and teaching activities in the field of veterinary medicine and animal science. The task of a specialist in this field is aimed at ensuring the health and well-being of animals and humans, the prevention of especially dangerous diseases of animals and humans, the conduction of a forensic veterinary examination, and ensuring the sanitary safety of the world trade in animals and products of animal and plant origin.


Educational Process

The program is designed for 180 credits, includes lectures, practical and laboratory classes, pedagogical and research practices, and is implemented in English. Studying in postgraduate school in the specialty 4.2.1. Animal pathology, morphology, physiology, pharmacology and toxicology, graduate students pass candidate minimums in a foreign language, history and philosophy of science, professional disciplines. In addition, the disciplines Pedagogy of higher education and Methodology of scientific research are studied.
