Educational Process

This programme provides comprehensive knowledge in the entire field of “Advertising and Public Relations”. In the senior courses there is a division into specialties, where students receive highly specialized knowledge in the chosen specialty “Public Relations”. The main terminology and basic concepts are borrowed from the English language, so the educational process includes a Complementary Education Programme, which allows students to get a diploma of a translator, and also within the framework of this programme it is possible to choose and study a second foreign language.
The programme “Public Relations” is designed for 4 years, where we aim to teach future specialists well-bred oral and written speech with the help of such courses as “Fundamentals of Rhetoric and Communications” and “Copywriting”; to expand the socio-political horizons by studying courses “Art and Literature”, “Sociology”, “Political Science”; to give basic knowledge, expertise and skills of the profession that will increase the competitiveness of future specialist with the help of such courses as “Political PR”, “Crisis Communications”, “Technologies of PR-Events”, etc.
Students can design their programme by themselves. Every year, students choose a course from the thematic blocks of special courses: “Image Design”, “Non-Standard Advertising and PR Technologies”, “Modern Presentation Technologies”, “Development of Creative Thinking”, “Practice of Modern Branding”, “Strategies and Tactics of SMM”, “Speechwriting”, “Naming”, “Event Marketing”, “Development of a Digital Project” and many others.
Much attention is paid to subjects on digital promotion, as this is one of the most promising areas in PR. Unique courses are conducted by practitioners from different areas of the advertising industry. Most of the subjects in the senior courses are conducted by invited practitioners from communication agencies, PR departments of large brands or independent experts and representatives of creative professions.
