Profession
The problem of energy and resource conservation are of strategic interest for the development of the state and for individual enterprises and companies. For Russian enterprises, taking into account the new requirements for the introduction of the best available technologies, it is extremely important to ensure the rational use of raw materials and energy resources, and the economical use of water resources. Chemical technology enterprises, biotechnological and petrochemical enterprises are sources of increased environmental risks and therefore are the object of priority attention. These are the most important areas of the proposed program. This is a practice-oriented direction that is in demand in modern enterprises and organizations that ensure the efficient use of resources.
Educational Process
The program “Energy-and Resource-saving Processes in chemical technology, petrochemistry and Biotechnology” is aimed at training specialists in the field of energy and resource conservation. Knowledge of modern principles and methods of energy and resource saving in chemical technology, petrochemistry and biotechnology, the use of computational and analytical methods, methods of optimizing production processes and the use of the best available technologies in creating energy — and resource-saving industries are a prerequisite for training a specialist in the field of resource-saving processes and technologies. The course is aimed at those who intend to link their professional activities with chemical production. The training courses taught within the framework of the educational program include topics of both general and special professional disciplines:
— Fundamentals of resource saving;
— Processes and devices of chemical technology;
— General chemical technology;
— Environmental protection processes and devices;
— Modeling of energy — and resource-saving processes;
— Chemical and technological process control systems;
— Harmful and dangerous substances in industry;
— HSE Management;
— Green economy and sustainable enterprise development;
— Recycling of production and consumption waste.
Practice
As part of the study of the practical part of the program, students undergo practical training at state and private enterprises that are part of the industrial cluster of the waste processing industry — the largest production associations: JSC Gazpromneft — Moscow Oil Refinery, EcoStandard group, FBU Rostest-Moscow, the largest German company for the production of cleaning equipment “HUBER TECHNOLOGIES”, JSC “ECOTECHNOLOGIES”, JSC Voskresensk Mineral Fertilizers. Contracts for practical training were also signed with the Scientific Institute of Industrial Ecology, the Joint Institute for High Temperatures of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the Moscow Region Water Supply Association, and Mosoblgaz LLC.
Career
As a result of mastering the program, students acquire skills in the field of energy and resource conservation in chemical technology, petrochemistry and biotechnology. Many of them successfully continue their studies at specialized master’s programs in Russian and foreign universities, work at energy enterprises, oil refining complex (MNPZ, SIBUR), in state administration and control bodies (ROSPRIRODNADZOR, the Ministry of Ecology of the Moscow Region, etc.).
