Career

Philosophical sciences play a significant part in society, contributing to historical continuity, improving value orientations and spiritual and moral attitudes. They ensure that fundamental knowledge, which contributes to the development and prosperity of the country, unlocking its growth potential, as well as enriching “human capital”, be preserved and enhanced. Despite the interest in predominantly practice-oriented specialties, the deep practice-transformative potential of philosophical worldview knowledge ensures the demand for training. Philosophical education is in demand in educational institutions. In addition, there is significant variability in the employment of graduates of philosophical programmes, as well as social mobility and the success of specialists with a degree in Philosophy. The demand for specialists with a philosophical degree in the labor market is determined by the needs of society and the state in educational, research, expert-analytical, cultural, educational, organizational and managerial activities. Graduates of the master’s programme in Philosophy can apply their professional competencies in the areas of business, politics and culture, namely: educational institutions of the general and higher education system, academic and research institutions, media and cultural institutions, government bodies and municipal government, as well as public and commercial organizations.
