The Master’s programme “Modern Marketing and Sales Management” is designed to provide professional skills and competencies for successful work in the sphere of modern marketing, as well as in the field of retail and trade marketing, to teach students to use specific marketing tools for organizing sales and promotion of goods and services. This programme is focused on combining international experience in the promotion of goods and services with the practice of market activity in the conditions of the Russian economy. Students are given the opportunity to master practice-oriented sections of marketing at the level of master’s programmes, including marketing in international companies, current trends in wholesale and retail trade, digital marketing, etc.


Educational Process

The Master’s programme takes place in the evening and includes:
— research of modern trends and tools in marketing;
— study of the areas of interaction between modern marketing and related activities — strategic analysis and planning, managerial economics, marketing analytics;
— formation of sales organization skills taking into account modern retail technologies, changes in consumer preferences;
— formation of an integrated approach to the development and organization of marketing communications, including electronic and Internet technologies;
— study of the international experience of marketing activities, first of all, of the largest network companies;
— the opportunity for students to study at foreign partner universities in order to more fully immerse themselves in the course under study.
The programme is conducted by qualified lecturers, almost all of whom have experience in marketing services of Russian and foreign companies. Representatives of such large companies as Coca-Cola, Nestle, etc. are also involved in teaching.


Practice

The arrangement of internships is an important part of the educational process. The places of internships are leading Russian and foreign companies in various fields of activity with large marketing departments, as well as government agencies. Such a specialist brings a new product to a specific national market, manages the product range, develops measures to improve sales efficiency, and is also responsible for the development of advertising, information and marketing materials, media planning using the latest IT technologies.
