The Master’s programme “Corporate Economics and Business Management” shapes a new generation of leaders capable of managing national and international companies, making competent economic and managerial decisions in the turbulent global economy and international economic relations. The Master’s programme aims to train effective managerial economists skilled in analysis, planning and management. Graduates of the programme can work in state federal, state and municipal institutions, commercial companies and organisations of various types involved in foreign economic activities in various sectors of the economy.

Educational Process

The Master’s programme “Corporate Economics and Business Management” is a unique hybrid of educational process and business, designed for Bachelor’s and Specialist's graduates as well as employee students of Russian and international companies seeking to obtain the full set of competencies necessary and sufficient for professional development and professional growth. The programme uses modern educational technologies and implements a practice-oriented approach to education due to a large number of special courses from business environment lecturers (PJSC GAZPROM, PJSC SBERBANK, SKOLKOVO Research and Development Centre, etc.). The course area of the Master’s programme “Corporate Economics and Business Management” is organisational and managerial activity, which consists of:
— elaboration of the system of socio-economic indicators of economic development;
— strategic planning of the activity and development of companies;
— design and justification of socio-economic indicators of economic development; essence and methods of their calculation;
— search, analysis and evaluation of sources of information for economic calculations;
— analysis of existing forms of organisational management
— development and justification of management decisions;
— forecasting the dynamics of key socio-economic indicators of companies;
— organisation and management of creative teams for solving economic and social problems
— designing corporate development strategies;
— organising the work of separate subdivisions of companies;
— managing economic departments and divisions of enterprises and organisations;
— project management and formation of business plans;
— designing economic projects and working tasks taking into account uncertainty;
— preparing tasks and developing methodological and normative documents, as well as suggestions and measures for implementing projects and programmes developed.
The programme is implemented for Russian and foreign citizens.
The form of training is by correspondence.
Study load: 120 credits — lectures, practical classes and independent tasks, work placement and pre-graduation internship.
The study of courses is modular.
In the learning process used e-learning and training using distance learning technologies.
Simultaneous training of students on two programs — Master’s program and MBA level business education program is possible.
Students with 2 years of proven work experience and completed higher education (Bachelor’s, Specialist or Master’s degree) are admitted to the General Management MBA programme combined with the Master’s programme “Corporate Economics and Business Management” according to the curriculum.
Simultaneous training on two programmes provides the opportunity to obtain 2 diplomas: a State Master’s diploma and a professional retraining diploma of MBA level. It is possible to shorten the study period to 2 years.

Practice
