Protecting interests in court, adjudicating administrative claims, working with cases of administrative offenses and other categories of cases is a serious challenge. It requires good professional training. During their studies, law students receive a wealth of knowledge and skills sufficient to work in court and prosecutor's office, Investigative Committee, public authorities, and legal departments. Moreover, graduates can engage in scientific and pedagogical activities, apply for advocacy, and if they have a bachelor’s degree in law, sit as a judge.
Educational Process
The RUDN academic school of administrative law and administrative procedure was founded in 1970s, and it is successfully developing today. The school’s characteristic feature is the common use of comparative legal and hermeneutic methods. Recently, the school professors have developed original courses based on the analysis of the Russian and foreign sources. The courses included in the curriculum of the Master’s programme meet the requirements of the leading foreign universities. Master’s programme Administrative Law and Administrative Procedure gives an opportunity to gain knowledge, develop skills and abilities in the field of substantive administrative law and administrative procedure. It allows to acquire professional knowledge of administrative law and administrative procedure in foreign countries and to master skills in conducting comparative legal research. The programme provides training for work in all branches of the government, in municipal bodies and institutions, as well as commercial and non-profit organizations, including the issues of application of innovative information and communication technologies in public administration.

Undergraduates undertake internships in federal ministries and departments, in the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, in the prosecutor's office and in courts.
Career
Having successfully mastered the educational programme, graduates get the opportunity to apply the knowledge in the field of administrative law and administrative process while working in legislative, executive and judicial authorities, municipal bodies, the Office of the Commissioner for Human Rights in the Russian Federation and in the regions, and international and Russian non-governmental organizations.
