The profession of manager-engineer implies managerial and organizational activities in production companies. Graduates of the program know how production functions, how to improve its efficiency through the use of modern methods of financial planning, formation of optimal logistics schemes, implementation of innovative technologies at all stages of the production process.

Those who have completed the program can create their own small high-tech start-ups, hold positions of heads of implementation projects, as well as work in planning and economic, production departments, quality management, logistics, etc. The training program is designed using the best practices of the industry.
Educational Process
The curriculum is created using the best practices of foreign training of students in “Master of Engineering management” programs (analogous to MBA, but for management of manufacturing companies) and assumes a large component of practice-oriented disciplines.
The curriculum is based on the principles of interdisciplinarity: the subjects of “technical” orientation - cloud technologies in enterprise management, intellectual analysis (Data mining) and decision-making, etc., are organically connected with the disciplines of the economic block, such as managerial economics, modern strategic analysis, etc. The curriculum is based on the principles of interdisciplinarity.
Much attention is paid to practical classes and master classes of leading scientists and specialists representing high-tech industry companies, in which the project-group approach is applied and practical cases are analyzed.
The major disciplines are:
“Production organization and management”, ‘Engineering innovation and product design management’, ‘Finance and investment in design management’, ‘Legal engineering’, ‘Project management’, ‘Analysis of financial and economic activity and management accounting’, ‘Lean production’, ‘Basics of logistics and supply chain management’.
Practice
Within the framework of mastering this program, students are provided with pre-graduation practice at the following enterprises: JSC Russian Helicopters, JSC United Aircraft Corporation, JSC Russian Comic Systems, JSC United Engine Corporation, JSC United Instrument Corporation.
Career
Successful mastering of the educational program allows graduates to find employment in production companies of state corporations as analytical engineers, project managers for production modernization, digital transformation, change management, implementation of quality management system and lean production, as well as managers for working with key clients and investors.
