Educational Process
Students gain an in-depth understanding of the key areas of agricultural production (Crop Science: an in-depth study of the principles and techniques of growing crops; Soil Fertility Management: an examination of the importance of soil health and fertility optimisation strategies for sustainable production; Crop Protection: an understanding of plant diseases, pests and their management to ensure crop health and yield; Genetics and Breeding: an examination of genetic principles and their application in breeding crops to improve traits and adaptations; Advanced Farm Management: an introduction to modern management techniques to run farms efficiently and profitably).
The programme is delivered entirely in English.
Practice
During industrial practice, students work in fields, greenhouses or other production areas:
take care of plants;
plant sowing, weeding;
treat plants from diseases and pests;
harvest crops;
analyze product quality;
learn how to work with agricultural machinery: tractors, combines, seeders, irrigation systems.
