Training in a residency department at the department with a specialization in Cell Biology involves the training of a specialist throughout the entire period of study. The activity of a specialist in the biological sciences is complex and multifaceted. This profession requires knowledge of microbiology, botany, plant physiology, medical and physiological chemistry. Specialists in the field of biochemistry are also engaged in research on theoretical and applied biology, medicine. The results of their work are important in the field of technical and industrial biology, vitaminology, histochemistry and genetics, in educational institutions, medical centers, at biological production enterprises, in agriculture and other spheres.
Educational Process
Major-specific disciplines:
— Methodology of Scientific Research;
— Higher Education Pedagogy;
— Major-specific discipline (cell biology);
— Disciplines at student’s option (Cell biology, Cytology, basic histology, Systemic histology).
Practice
Medical residents are distributed to the units of the clinical sites of the department, where, under the guidance of professors of the department, they have the opportunity both to expand their knowledge and see its application in practice. Students analyze clinical events and this provides the opportunity to obtain a wealth of clinical experience during residency training.
