A good translator-lawyer is not a person who knows only a foreign language but special terminology, works with legal documentation in a foreign language, knows nuances of professional translation, can communicate and conduct negotiations with foreign colleagues. All these things are taught to master’s students. They are trained for international certification exams in English and English teaching methods. The internship in the European Parliament Office in Brussels and language trainings in Great Britain, Austria, France, Spain help students to master their future profession.
Programme in English / Jointly with Universidad de Alcalá (UAH) (Spain) – programme in Spanish
Graduates of this programme can conduct negotiations, conferences or consultations in administrative and legal spheres in a foreign language, prepare documents under professional standards, work in a foreign team. Students learn two foreign languages and a wide range of cross-disciplinary knowledge including law, document science and computer technologies of specialized translation. The best students have internships in the European Parliament Office in Brussels.
