The Chinese themselves call the New Year the Spring Festival, and the history of this holiday has more than 4,000 years. Traditionally, festive festivities last 16 days. In 2022, the Chinese New Year will last from January 31 (New Year's Eve) to February 15 (Lantern Festival).
