The living values of the RUDN are one of the most important elements of the strategic development of the university. Living values services are the basis of the corporate culture of the RUDN University and serve as the basis for the formation of corporate identity.

Established by the UN in 1993, World Water Day is held annually on March 22. This day emphasizes the importance of fresh water. Currently, 2.2 billion people do not have access to safe water. The Asia-Pacific region has the lowest water availability per capita, with a 30% increase in groundwater use in the region by 2050. Measures are needed to combat the global water crisis.

Worldwide, on March 20, at the initiative of the United Nations, World Earth Day is celebrated. It is timed to the Day of the Vernal Equinox and has a peacemaking and humanistic aims.
