Lucy Gugen, Head of Strategic and Impact Communications at “Anthesis”, will host a webinar on how businesses and governments can benefit from natural capital accounting and economic resource valuations.

“Anthesis” is expanding its expertise and offerings in natural capital and biodiversity accounting by integrating nature and resource economics business lines. In this webinar, Lucy Gugen will provide an overview of current trends around the urgent need for businesses and governments to integrate natural capital and biodiversity into their decisions and strategies by properly valuing them. Illustrative examples will be provided of how “Anthesis” can help bring such change.

  • Conclusions of COP15 of the UN Convention on Biological Diversity
  • What is the concept of natural capital and how can economic analysis help account for natural capital?
  • How can economic analysis help in assessing the value of natural capital and biodiversity?

The working language of the webinar is English. The participants of the webinar will be undergraduate and graduate students of the RUDN Institute of Environmental Engineering.
