The Master's programme in Philosophy aims to train specialists in modern epistemology and axiology for educational organizations of general, vocational and higher education, academic and research organizations, mass media, cultural institutions, public organizations, state and municipal authorities by developing the personal qualities of master students and forming their universal, professional and professional competencies. The programme prepares graduates who are capable of working in two research fields of philosophy: theory of values (axiology) and theory of cognition (epistemology). This combination of research competencies provides graduates with a strong competitive advantage for launching research and teaching careers.


The Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences of the RUDN University implements two master's programs in the direction of " Philosophy":

  1. Knowledge and values: transformations in changing world;
  2. Knowledge and values: transformations in changing world (jointly with the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University).
