The Department of foreign languages (Institute of Medicine, RUDN University) and the Department of linguistics and intercultural communication (MSLU Faculty of distance learning) are hosting an inter-university round table in French “Beneficial Properties of Vitamins / Vertus des vitamins”.

The key topic of the event is the importance of vitamins and their effect on the human body.

The event is aimed at forming socio-cultural competence and professionally oriented foreign language communicative competence of students of RUDN University Institute of Medicine and MSLU Faculty of distance learning.

Objectives of the event: a comprehensive analysis of the content of the concept “Vitamins” in linguistic, medical, historical and social aspects as part of learning a foreign language for special purposes.

Practical implementation: group and individual project presentations.

The round table is supposed to contribute to forming the socio-cultural competence and professionally oriented foreign language communicative competence in the field of linguistics and intercultural communication.

Working language — French.

 

Participants: students of RUDN University Institute of Medicine and MSLU Faculty of distance learning, teaching staff of the Department of foreign languages (RUDN University Institute of Medicine) and the Department of linguistics and intercultural communication (MSLU Faculty of distance learning).
