About the event

As of April 2022, disclosing climate-related financial data in line with the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) will become mandatory for British businesses with £500 million+ turnover and a headcount of 500+ employees. In anticipation of these new rules, there are fears that the new company reports will contain the so-called greenwashing, that is, the presentation of information in a distorted form, fitting the actual data to environmental standards without disclosing confidential commercial information.

The purpose of the webinar is to discuss best practices, the future of TCFD and sustainability disclosure, as well as lessons learned from the current situation by early adopters. The participants of the webinar will be undergraduate students of the RUDN Institute of Environmental Engineering.
