Trends and areas of Russian-Chinese cooperation in 2023, in the Year of Teachers and Mentors in Russia
On May 30, 2023, within the framework of academic and methodological online seminar of the Foreign Languages Department of the Agrarian and Technological Institute of RUDN University, invited lector Lobanova Tatiana N. (Doctor in Phylology, Professor of the Oriental languages` Department, Director of the Regional Center for Chinese Language and Sinology, State University of Education (SUE), President of the Association of teachers of the Moscow region “Teachers of Chinese language”) will give lecture entitled “Trends and areas of Russian-Chinese cooperation in 2023, in the Year of Teachers and Mentors in Russia”. The lecture will be held online via Microsoft Teams.
The National years of Russia and China, Russian and Chinese languages have become new milestones in relations between the two countries. Joint events in the sphere of education have become the main ones for the partner states in the programs of the national years of Russia and China in the field of education as effectively contributing to the growth of mutual understanding and mutual trust between representatives of the two countries, expanding and enriching cooperation in the humanitarian sphere and in other areas, making a worthy contribution to the further strengthening of good neighborliness and friendship relations between the peoples of Russia and China.
The lecture highlights issues related to the humanitarian agenda of Russian-Chinese cooperation in the field of education. In particular, such aspects as modern Russian-Chinese educational tourism and the mechanisms of its implementation will be touched upon; trends in proposals from Chinese educational organizations for students and mentors from Russia; areas of educational activity of interest to Russian and Chinese students; exhibitions of educational services of the two countries, etc.

The lecture is scheduled to be held as an interactive event.
The lecture will convene the staff of the Foreign Languages Department of the Agrarian and Technological Institute, Ph.D. students and students enrolled in “Translator” program at the Agrarian and Technological Institute (up to 25 attendees).
