Awarding of RUDN University Institute of Medicine Hospital Surgery Department’s staff

The RUDN University Institute of Medicine Hospital Surgery Department’s staff with their course of pediatric surgery were awarded high prizes of the European Academy of Natural Sciences and the European Scientific Community May 27, 2015, The RUDN University Institute of Medicine Hospital Surgery Department’s staff with their course of pediatric surgery, Prof. A. Faybushevich, Head of the Department, senior lecturer and M. Maksimkin, the senior lecturer of the department, represented the University at an important European congress - Euromedica 2015 with reports on leading scientific directions of the Department and were awarded high prizes of the European Academy of Natural Sciences and European Scientific Society. For outstanding achievements in scientific research in the field of endovascular treatment of coronary heart disease patients with complex coronary lesions D. Maksimkin was awarded the Albert Schweitzer Medal with the rank of "Honorary Scientist of Europe". For outstanding achievements in scientific research in the field of open-heart surgery for patients with coronary heart disease, A. Faybushevich was awarded the R. Koch Medal.
