TJanuary 24, the Department of Civil and Labor Law of the Faculty of Law held the all-Russia conference “Comparative Law and the problems of private regulation in Russia and foreign countries”. The aim of the conference was to study the experience of foreign countries in the sphere of the reformation of civil law and legal procedure and notably the experience of using new alternative methods of dispute resolution – arbitration, mediation, mediating, etc. As a result new alternative methods of dispute resolution were considered. Special attention was paid to the detailed characterization of the sources of civil law, to the provisions of civil codes on international private law in foreign countries.
