Competition on commercial arbitrage of the All-Union Academy of Foreign Trade (VAVT) - International Purchase-Sale after M. Rozenberg – 2016

The team was composed by students of the third course: Alina Urazova, Kristina Streshinskaya, Angelos Singeris, Irina Homushku, and also the two trainers - Ivan Chumachenko, assistant of the Department of civil and labor law of the RUDN Law Institute and Sergei Shakirov, the Senior teacher of the same department.

This competition was organized for the third time. The first time it was held in 2014. The primary task of the event was to introduce students into the procedure of maintaining the process in accordance with the regulations of the International commercial arbitrary court (ICAC) under the Trade Industrial Chamber of the RF, to study details of the financial and juridical aspects of investigation in the International commercial arbitrary court. 

The main attribute of the competition was the maximum approximation of the game process to the real circumstances of leading the procedure in the international commercial arbitrage. The members of the jury were the acting arbitraries of the ICAC.

Over 20 teams took part in the competition, including the teams from Armenia, Belorussia, Kazakhstan, and the leading Law institutes and faculties of Moscow, Kaliningrad, Tumen’, Ufa, Novosibirsk and Ekaterinburg.
