Current problems of linguistic and business and professional foreign language linguodidactics

April 18-19, VI International research and practice conference “Current problems of linguistic and business and professional foreign language linguodidactics” was organized by the foreign languages department of the Economic faculty with participation of the British Council, the Cervantes Institute, the Goethe-Institut, the University of Westminster (Great Britain), the Institute Dante Alighieri (Italy), the French-Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), the French national agency for the promotion of higher education “CampusFrance”, publishing companies “Longman”, “Macmillan”, “Klett”, Cambridge University Press, Cambridge English Language Assessment and the company “RosInternet Technologies”. The conference was devoted to current problems of applied linguistics, modern trends of vocationally orientated translation and interpreting, cross-cultural communication, new technologies in foreign languages academic activity and methods of business foreign language teaching in the frame of six foreign languages: English, French, German, Spanish, Italian and Chinese.
