Dancing students from all over the world. The international ensemble “Rhythms of Friendship” is 45!
In1971, Valentina Ryazanova, inspired by the social events of the university “Melodies of the continents”, decided to create an ensemble “Rhythms of Friendship”. The main goal was to unite dancing students from different parts of the world. Since then the ensemble has become the landmark of RUDN.
For many years of work in RUDN Valentina Ryazanova, honored worker of culture of the Russian Federation, has brought up a huge number of dancing generations, cultivated love to dance, absolute understanding of its beauty, and ability to reveal yourself through dance.
There are more than 200 dances performed by the ensemble. About a hundred of them have been brought by its members from different parts of the world.
In 1984, “Rhythms of Friendship” got the title “People’s ensemble”. And since 1994, this title as “honorary” has remained with the ensemble forever.
The aaniversary medal to the 100th anniversary of V.F. Stanis is awarded to RUDN current and ex-employees and students for: significant contribution to the university development; long-standing commitment to maintaining ties with the university; fruitful cooperation of Russian and foreign organizations, scientists and public figures with the university.
RUDN University employees’ work and contribution to the development of the university cannot go unappreciated. The Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Russia recognizes talented university employees and present them with various departmental and state awards.
In 2023, the Public Council of the Russian Ministry of Education and Science conducted an independent assessment of the quality of conditions for educational activities. More than 300 universities and branches provided information on the quality of education.
