September 26, 2013, a delegation from Northumbria University (Great Britain) consisting of Deputy Vice-Chancellor of the International Development, prof. Paul Croney, Executive Dean for the Faculty of Business and Law, prof. Kevin Kerrigan and Director of International Development, prof. Joanne Purves arrived on a visit at Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia. During the meeting with Vice-rector for International Activity G. Krasnova different ways of future collaboration were discussed. Special focus was on academic mobility development for students and teachers of RUDN University, creation of joint programs and double diploma. As a result of the talks, both parties unanimously agreed to sign a memorandum of understanding planned for November this year.

RUDN rose to the 26th position in the UI GreenMetric 2022 ranking and confirmed the status of the “greenest” university in Russia. The ranking includes 1,050 world universities, of which 52 are Russian.
