“Economics and Business” and “Social Sciences” RUDN for the first time included in the Times Higher Education world ranking by subject
RUDN University was first included in the 2 world subject rankings of Times Higher Education (THE). In the field of “Business & Economics”, the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia is in group 301–400, and in the “Social Sciences” - in group 501–600. 13 indicators are evaluated in 5 areas: “Teaching”, “Research”, “Citations”, “International outlook”, “Industry outcome”.
In the direction of “Business and Economics”, RUDN University was included in the ranking due to a breakthrough in 4 indicators: “The share of foreign students” (1.6 times higher than the average in the world), “Ratio of the number of teaching staff and students” (1.7 higher than the average in the world), “Industry outcome” and “Citations”.
In the field of “Social Sciences”, RUDN University showed positive dynamics in the indicators “Industry outcome” and “Income per 1 researcher or teacher”, “Share of international students”. The latter is almost 3 times higher than the world average.
